Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of The Linux Academy Pakistan (“the Service”), operated by AlphaTech Labs (“we”, “us”). By creating an account, enrolling in a course, or making a payment, you agree to these terms.

1. Accounts

You must provide accurate registration details and keep your login credentials secure. An account is for a single individual; you are responsible for all activity under your account.

2. Enrolment & access

Courses are online and self-paced. On enrolment you receive access for the period shown at checkout (currently 6 months). Access is personal and non-transferable and may not be shared with others.

3. Payments

Course fees are shown in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) and are payable online through our payment gateway, PayFast (which supports card, EasyPaisa, and JazzCash). Prices may change, but changes do not affect courses you have already purchased.

4. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Return & Refund Policy.

5. Acceptable use

Course materials are provided for your personal learning only. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, publicly share, or record and republish any course content, nor attempt to circumvent access controls. You agree to use any lab servers and cloud accounts lawfully and only as directed in the course.

6. Intellectual property

All course content — text, slides, video, labs, and code — is the property of AlphaTech Labs / The Linux Academy Pakistan and is protected by law. Enrolment grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access it for personal, non-commercial learning.

7. Certificates

Certificates of completion, where offered, recognise completion of our course. They are not a substitute for, and do not constitute, any third-party or vendor certification.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we work hard to keep content accurate and the platform available, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or any particular career, exam, or employment outcome.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the course concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

10. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties (for example PayFast for payments and Google for optional sign-in). Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms.

11. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, including sharing or redistributing course materials, without refund.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and the courts of Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have jurisdiction.

13. Changes

We may update these terms; the “last updated” date above reflects the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
